As a fellow veteran, with a near-death experience, I genuinely care and love my veteran brothers/sisters for what you experience in combat. I know many of you still experience pain, live with troublesome memories, nightmares, sleepless nights, and the challenge of living day to day with the memories of war while trying to be “normal”. I see your tears and feel your pain. I pledge to write as you share and never overstate or dramatize. I would be honored to share your story.
